home space comfort shawls

These two shawls were created in response to a "Scarf, Shawl, Blanket" assignment in my Weaving 2 class.  We were asked to make a product following specific parameters about the hand of the fabric and the materials used.  These shawls are my "home space comfort shawls", they encapsulate visually and materially how I know my home to be.  They are dark and cozy, and have a weight to them that is comforting while on the body.
